It also only takes about 3-5 minutes, you can do it with your eyes open, and, perhaps most importantly, doesn't require any sort of awkward pose.
In fact, I often do it while I travel (though not while driving)
The challenge isn't being able to do it, of course, but to make the time to do it three times per day, for 10 days, without missing a single day.
That, is the current Sensei's 10 Day challenge!
Should you succeed, you will find an incredible increase in health, vitality and energy.
Why, you might ask? Due to the increased circulation of lymph in your bloodstream, which directly impacts the lubrication of your red blood cells. Put simply, your blood will flow smoother, and be free of toxin buildup with regular use of this meditation.
Now, I apologize that its so simple. I wish I could find an incredibly hard way to get these same results, but, here it is:
- Breathe in for X, hold for 4X, exhale for 2X.
- Take one normal, slow breath.
- Repeat this process 10 times.
The ratio is what is more important than the number itself, though, for more dramatic results, you'd want a number closer to 7, hold for 28, exhale for 14. But you get the idea.
